A boutique Amazon marketing agency is a smaller team that limits how many brands it works with. The promise is simple: more senior attention, faster responses and deeper focus on your account than you would get as one client among hundreds.
That promise matters because managing Amazon advertising is genuinely hard. In Jungle Scout’s seller research, 51% of sellers using Amazon PPC said it was challenging to manage (Jungle Scout). Many growing brands have tried a large agency and found their account handed to a junior manager juggling dozens of clients.
Brands are also more selective about agency relationships. A 2026 World Federation of Advertisers study found that 35% of brands say managing agency relationships has become harder, and that great briefing and trust contribute more to agency performance than financial incentives (Marketing Report). Boutiques often win on exactly those factors.
In this guide, we compare nine boutique and senior-led Amazon agencies for 2026, and explain who each one suits.
Boutique Amazon marketing agencies compared at a glance
How we selected these boutique Amazon agencies
We defined a boutique as an Amazon-focused agency that deliberately limits its client base, runs with a small or senior-heavy team, or specializes narrowly in a category or discipline.
We then looked for public evidence: team size, client caps, founder involvement, case studies and independent recognition. Where figures are self-reported, we say so.
Large holding-company agencies are excluded by design. If you need enterprise scale, see our guide to Amazon marketing agencies for enterprise.
1. Xneeti: Best for brands that want boutique-level attention backed by platform-scale automation
Xneeti is not a boutique in headcount. It is a multi-marketplace AI platform built by ex-Amazon category managers and ex-Google engineers, managing 80+ accounts. It is on this list because it was designed to deliver what brands usually hire a boutique for: a dedicated person who owns the account and real attention to it.
Every account gets a dedicated strategist, and Xneeti’s account-to-manager ratio is 50% lower than the industry standard. AI handles the hourly work, including bid changes, n-gram analysis, dayparting and inventory-aware ad pausing, which frees the strategist for judgment and communication rather than spreadsheet maintenance.
Alan Young, CEO of Armor Concepts, described the experience in terms boutiques usually claim:
“Each week I get a detailed breakdown of what’s going on in the account. Our performance has increased — we’re probably up about 50% over the last couple of months.”
— Alan Young, CEO, Armor Concepts
The main reason to consider Xneeti is that you do not have to choose between attention and capability. Across 80+ managed accounts, including Shark Tank and enterprise brands, Xneeti averages a 50% TACoS reduction and 30% revenue growth. Pricing is a flat $999 to $1,999 per month, with no percentage of ad spend and no long-term contract. See our full-service Amazon agency model or book a demo.
Core services
- Dedicated strategist: One accountable owner with a below-industry account load.
- Hourly AI optimization: Bids, budgets, negatives and placements managed continuously.
- Content, inventory and profitability: In-house creative and video, stock forecasting and payout tracking.
2. Olifant Digital: Best for brands that want senior-only strategists focused on profitability
Olifant Digital is a full-service Amazon agency with a senior-only team: every strategist has at least seven years of Amazon experience. The agency also runs its own seven-figure Amazon brand and tests methods on it before applying them to client accounts.
Its work with premium wallet brand Ekster shows the approach. Olifant restructured variations, rewrote copy, built A+ content and a Brand Store, and expanded advertising beyond branded keywords using TACoS targets, adding $688,406 in yearly Amazon profit, according to Olifant. It reports a 98% client retention rate and states a starting price of around $2,000 per month on directory profiles; both are self-reported.
The main reason to consider Olifant Digital is the guarantee of senior attention. The trade-off is capacity: senior-only teams can take on only so many accounts.
Core services
- Profit-focused strategy: Product-level profit targets and budgets.
- PPC management: Campaign restructuring, keyword expansion and bid control.
- Catalog and content: Variation cleanup, copy, A+ content and Stores.
3. BellaVix: Best for brands that want a self-described boutique with published results
BellaVix explicitly positions itself as a boutique Amazon marketing agency, covering advertising, listings, creative and account support. It publishes a range of case studies.
In one, it took over a Sports and Outdoors Seller Central account from another agency in January 2021 after sales had plateaued and reported 10X year-over-year total sales growth by widening targeting into adjacent fitness and sports audiences (BellaVix). Another analysis tracked conversion gains of between 4.89% and 229% after adding A+ content across clients.
The main reason to consider BellaVix is that it combines a boutique model with a visible track record across both advertising and creative.
Core services
- Amazon advertising: Sponsored ads strategy and expansion.
- Listing and A+ content: Creative and copy focused on conversion.
- Account support: Compliance and reimbursement issues.
4. Junglr: Best for founder-led PPC strategy with open, ongoing education
Junglr is an Amazon PPC agency co-founded by Elizabeth Greene, a former Amazon seller, and her husband. It focuses on using keywords and buyer psychology to position products (SyncSpider).
Greene hosts #AskJunglr, a weekly live Q&A where she answers sellers’ advertising questions, and has explained forecasting PPC costs and orders before launch on The PPC Den podcast (Ad Badger).
The main reason to consider Junglr is direct access to founder-level PPC thinking. It suits brands whose main need is advertising strategy rather than full operations.
Core services
- PPC management: Sponsored ads strategy built around buyer psychology.
- Forecasting: Estimating cost, orders and ACoS before scaling.
- Education: Ongoing transparency through public Q&A.
5. BTR Media: Best for brands expanding from Amazon into wider retail media
BTR Media, formerly BetterAMS, is a retail advertising agency co-founded by CEO Destaney Wishon in Bentonville, Arkansas. By early 2024 it had 28 remote employees and around 60 clients, including Garden of Life and Hyperice, and had managed more than $500 million in ad spend (Talk Business & Politics).
Wishon built her expertise hands-on. Her Helium 10 profile puts it plainly:
“I learned the ropes the hard way by working hands on with accounts”
— Destaney Wishon, CEO and Co-Founder, BTR Media
Source: Helium 10
The main reason to consider BTR Media is a small, senior team with large-scale spend experience across Amazon, Walmart and other retail media.
Core services
- Amazon advertising: Sponsored Products, Brands, video and DSP.
- Retail media expansion: Walmart, Instacart and other networks.
- Bid management: Strategy and tooling beyond Amazon’s console.
6. PPC Ninja: Best for data-driven advertising for six- to eight-figure sellers
PPC Ninja is a Seattle-based provider of Amazon advertising software and services led by CEO and co-founder Ritu Java, who has an engineering background and more than a decade in ecommerce. It manages Sponsored and DSP advertising for six-, seven- and eight-figure sellers (AMZ Advisers).
Java is known for splitting automatic campaigns into their four targeting groups for tighter control and won the Billion Dollar Seller Summit speaker prize (Podwise).
The main reason to consider PPC Ninja is its analytical, engineering-led approach. It suits brands that want rigor in campaign structure.
Core services
- Sponsored ads management: Structured, data-driven campaign building.
- Amazon DSP: Programmatic for established sellers.
- Software plus services: Tools supporting the managed work.
7. Booscala: Best for brands that want a very small client roster
Booscala is a beauty-focused Amazon agency that keeps its roster deliberately small. It states on its own site that it works with six brands in total and opens two spots a year.
Its model is performance-based, with no retainer, no setup fee and a money-back guarantee if revenue does not grow, though percentages and contract terms are not published. It covers Amazon in the US, UK, Germany, France and Italy.
The main reason to consider Booscala is the extreme focus. The trade-off is availability and limited independent evidence, since it has no third-party review profiles.
Core services
- Embedded Amazon team: Listings, advertising and operations under one team.
- Beauty and K-beauty specialism: Category-specific expertise.
- Multi-marketplace coverage: US and four European Amazon stores.
8. Riverboat: Best for natural food brands that want category specialists
Riverboat is a Boulder, Colorado marketplace agency founded in 2017 that works exclusively with natural food brands. It manages Amazon, Walmart.com and Instacart, with clients including JSHealth Vitamins, Little Secrets and Recipe 33 (DesignRush).
The main reason to consider Riverboat is category depth. It suits grocery and better-for-you brands; DesignRush lists a minimum budget of $10,000 to $25,000.
Core services
- Amazon audits and optimization: Listing and margin improvements for grocery brands.
- Advertising and merchandising: Category-aware campaigns.
- Omnichannel grocery: Walmart.com and Instacart.
9. Seller Presto: Best for UK brands that want a hands-on specialist outside London
Seller Presto is a Middlesbrough-based Amazon specialist offering account management, advertising, listing creation and consultancy. It reached the finals of the 2023 Amazon Ads Partner Awards in the Challenger EMEA category (Sermondo).
Its founder, Graeme Coyle, said the agency had doubled turnover in a year, and has noted that Amazon-specialist agencies are in short supply in the UK (Prolific North).
The main reason to consider Seller Presto is Amazon recognition at boutique scale for UK sellers.
Core services
- Amazon advertising: Sponsored ads management.
- Listings and store setup: Listing creation and optimization.
- Consultancy: Strategic guidance for growing sellers.
Boutique versus large agency: the real trade-offs
Pricing models are shifting for agencies of every size. The WFA study found labour-based remuneration fell to 19% of arrangements from 54% in 2011, while fixed-fee and output-based models rose to 33% (Marketing Report). Bruno Gralpois, co-founder of Agency Mania Solutions, which co-authored the research, put the partnership challenge this way:
“Becoming better partners isn’t a mindset shift, it’s an operational one.”
— Bruno Gralpois, Co-Founder and Principal, Agency Mania Solutions

Relationships that work also last: the same research found average paid social agency tenure rose from two years to 4.3 years since 2018.
How to choose the right boutique Amazon agency
1. Be clear on what you need most
Boutiques are often strongest in one area: PPC, creative, a category or a marketplace. Decide whether you need specialist depth or full coverage before you shortlist.
2. Meet the people who will do the work
Ask who runs your account day to day, how many other accounts they manage and how decisions are made. In a boutique, the people in the pitch should be the people doing the work.
3. Ask about cover and continuity
Small teams carry key-person risk. Ask who covers holidays and illness, how knowledge is documented, and what happens if your main contact leaves.
4. Check scope gaps
Confirm whether DSP, creative, inventory planning, account health and other marketplaces are included, outsourced or not offered. Fill gaps before they become problems.
5. Look for evidence in your category
Ask for case studies with a starting problem, actions and results. Our guide to Amazon agencies versus consultants helps frame the decision.
6. Understand the fee and incentives
Retainers, performance fees and percentage-of-spend models reward different behavior. See our Amazon agency pricing guide before you sign.
